When I started collage at 21, I pushed myself to the point of frustration because I felt behind in life. During the entirety of my college career I struggled on the daily with thoughts of inadequacy and wondering if I *actually* had talent or if anyone would take notice of the things that made my soul sing.

Some did.

I'm so grateful that my life has been peppered with people who saw beyond my flaws, my imperfections and yes my not so finessed design skills and poured their wisdom and resources into investing into who I could become.

I've learned to believe in myself not because of my own abilities but because others believed in me first.

Even though they might not acknowledge it, I see the goodness of others as a way that God has smiled on my life and provided for me. I knew He had given me the gifts and yet He also gave me the people and the experiences that would show me how to use them in life-giving ways.
